MERCERSBURG 4, BLAIR 3 >> Mercersburg Academy pulled out a narrow victory on Saturday afternoon in a highly-contested Mid-Atlantic Prep League girls tennis match versus Blair.
The Blue Storm (1-1, 1-0 MAPL) earned several narrow victories. At No. 2 singles, Molly Widdoes won in two sets but needed a 7-4 tiebreaker victory in the second set to earn a win.
At No. 5 singles, Eliza Smith went to a third set, which she won 11-9. The No. 3 doubles team of Allyson Chae and Gabbie Albert won, 9-7.
