In Elizabethtown, the Lady Bears took a 3-0 lead into intermission on goals by Talia Grynkewicz, Katie Anderton, and Jamie Marsico while holding the Lady Mountaineers (0-1, 1-1) without a first half shot.
After the break, Jordan Welsh's well-struck ball over the head of Bears' goalkeeper Joy Hileman (2 saves) cut into the lead, but two goals by Bears' freshman Sierra Reed - assisting on a second goal by Grynkewicz in-between - helped Etown (1-0 L-L, 2-0 overall) pull away.
Taylor Moore also scored for Ephrata (0-1, 1-1), with goalkeeper Becca Gehman credited for a pair of saves. Etown held the Lady Mounts without a corner in the contest and outshot Ephrata by a 12-5 margin.
