In a battle of YAIAA Division I rivals, it was the Central York Panthers that came out on top in a District 3 postseason battle.
The Panthers beat Dallastown, 2-1 in eight innings, on Saturday in a District 3 Class 6A tournament game.
The Panthers, seeded No. 2 in the Class 6A bracket, will now face No. 3 Penn Manor on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Hershey High School.

Central stands at 20-1 on the season while Penn Manor is 19-1.
Dallastown, seeded No. 10, fell to 12-9 on the year. It was the third time the two teams met this year, with Central York sweeping the season series.
